I applied to the Master of Science in Nursing program and met the January deadline for submission. I see on Myfile it says no decision yet. Do you know roughly when admission acceptance or decline letters are sent out?

Hi Halim,

Thanks for your question – happy to help as an alum of the MES. For the MES program, you do not need a supervisor prior to admission. Once you are admitted to the program you will be assigned an advisor, who will then in turn help you to identify a supervisor that is appropriate for what you are studying.

As for offers of admission, they have begun to be sent out but applications are reviewed as they come in and offers will continue to be released on a rolling basis. Remember to meet the April 1 application deadline!

Hi there,
I am an applicant to the Master of Environmental Studies for the upcoming fall semester. I am wondering whether an applicant needs the approval of a supervisor before or after admission. I am also wondering as to when (which month), offers of admission are sent out to successful candidates.
